The Beginning

At the age of eight and ten the two brothers learned the very basics of juggling. Nobody assumed that this nice pastime will become their real passion sometime. Their father Günter has always been fascinated by juggling and he was the one who thought the boys how to juggle with balls.

The first performance

Every year one of Europe’s largest street art festivals, the so called “Pflasterspektakel” takes place in Linz (Austria). This event motivated Christoph and Manuel to practice more and to be part of this huge event.

In 1998 the duo first performed at the festival. Overwhelmed by the positive reactions and the great atmosphere they developed new exciting acts with a mix of juggling and comedy each year.

The vision

In the year 2002 they met the world class juggler Thomas Dietz from Germany at the Austrian juggling festival in Klagenfurt. He was impressed by their skill in club passing. The brothers also profited from Thomas’ knowledge and advices.

Soon Manuel and Christoph visited their first juggling conventions abroad. They were fascinated by the numerous possibilities and facets juggling offers. Furthermore they were pleased because they have become part of the international juggling community.

At that time they were really infected by the “juggling virus” and a new idea was born: setting a world record.

The first world record

In the following years they were able to constantly improve there technique through consistent and hard practice. They often trained more then 20 hours a week. In June 2004 Christoph and Manuel succeeded – they had set their first world record in team juggling at the juggling festival in Klagenfurt (Austria). The brothers broke the nine clubs record of the two Russians Vova & Olga Galchenko.

The World Champions

The sensational world record pointed out the amazing talent of the brothers. Manuel and Christoph have found out that they have got even more potential. Soon the next goal was set: In 2005 they wanted to take part in the world championships in juggling at Davenport (USA). This event is hosted by the IJA (International Juggler’s Association) every year.

After an intensive year of consistent training and numerous shows the sensation was perfect on July, 21st 2005: The duo won the gold medal on their first attempt in the teams competition.

In the meantime the brothers became well known all over the world. They were invited to numerious juggling festivals (e.g. USA, France, Israel, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, ...).

In the year 2007 three more world records with 9, 10, 11 and 12 clubs followed. In June 2007 Christoph and Manuel managed to win the teams competition for a second time at the IJA in Winston-Salem (USA). In the 60 years history of the IJA just one other team has achieved that.

The mission

At the beginning of the year 2008 the brothers decided to make the big passion their profession. Since that time the two professionals inspire their audience with numerous shows in Austria and abroad. Apart from that they pass on their skill and enthusiasm at workshops.
